Our first year in Henderson, NV is complete and with it, the reality of the incredibly hot summer is upon us. We have been away from family and friends for many months and have embarked on a nearly 3,000 mile journey to reconnect with those we love and enjoy the beauty of the west coast..
The first leg of our trip took us from Las Vegas to Sparks. Everyone comments that it is a miserable drive, but we found it quite beautiful. There were some pretty strong winds and minor trailer drama, but all in all an easy 9 hours. Following a nice night in our hotel and a great ride around the lake, we headed to Oregon!

Gresham, OR
Following two days of great road progress, we landed at Nane' and Pappos' house. An amazing family meat buffet, some great park time and loads of family catching up!
Central and Southern California Coast
Beach, mountains, and fun!
Next stop, Kirkland (and Seattle, North Bend, and Ellensburg). Already enjoying great family fun with Grandma and Grandpa, as well as Mike and Leslie and cousin Emerson. Good food, great conversation, but dang, it is really hot here!
